Universities and businesses’ cooperation in training and researching

In the dialogue, Prof. Tran Van Top - HUST Vice President talked about the development of the cooperation between HUST and businesses over years, especially in organizing recruiting events, career seminars, internship programs, granting scholarships and other activities. Recently, HUST graduate students have been sponsored by businesses to develop their research. In the near future, more scholarships from businesses are going to be granted to talented and disadvantaged students.

HUST Student Affairs Office also reported its survey on students’ knowledge and skills compared to businesses’ needs. The result benefits not only the development of HUST training programs but also the cooperation between university and businesses in supporting students’ employability and employment.

Under the coordinator of Mr. Nguyen Quan - the Chairman of HUST Alumni, Prof. Hoang Minh Son - President of HUST and Prof. Tran Van Top - Vice President of HUST, the dialogue was lively and fruitful with many sharings, recommendations and suggestions of how to university connect and cooperate with businesses effectively from HUST alumni.
